LG Discovery Lab is
a place where youth can explore how artificial intelligence is shaping
the future and discover their own potential along the way.
Founded in 2022 by the LG Yonam Culture Foundation as part of its commitment to social responsibility, LG Discovery Lab is a unique science center devoted to AI education for youth. It is a place where students can experience the near future through AI, blending hands-on exploration with an understanding of AI principles and applications—helping them learn, grow, and imagine new possibilities.
- LG AI Youth Camp
- A Journey of Exploration and Growth
The LG AI Youth Camp is a flagship program jointly developed with Seoul National University. It invites students to tackle real-world problems through AI-driven team projects. Outstanding participants earn the opportunity to take part in advanced learning experiences in the United States.
Students form teams to identify everyday challenges and design AI-based solutions. This project-based curriculum fosters creativity, teamwork, and self-directed learning, helping students grow as both learners and problem-solvers.
A select group of students from the Seoul National University curriculum move on to the U.S. program. The LG-designed portion introduces students to leading AI companies in the United States, while the local U.S. curriculum allows them to collaborate with international peers on team projects, gaining a truly global learning experience.
- Short-term Programs
- Experience-based AI Education for All
Short-term programs consist of two-hour sessions designed to make AI education more widely accessible. Covering five key areas—robotics intelligence, vision intelligence, language intelligence, data intelligence, and AI human—these programs combine interactive experiences with clear explanations of AI principles.
Beyond these, LG Discovery Lab also offers special lectures by LG’s AI researchers and advanced courses such as an eight-session AI model development program. Together, these initiatives open the door to diverse opportunities for youth to engage deeply with AI, inspiring them to imagine and create a better future.
LG Discovery Lab has a

LG Discovery Lab involves LG AI R&D researchers in the process of its education programs development. That is why LG Discovery Lab enables teens to experience the cutting edge of artificial intelligence.
LG AI R&D researchers, playing key roles in LG AI development, actively participate at education program development for LG Discovery Lab - from selecting a detailed subject to reviewing program quality. In addition, they are supposed to provide lectures sharing their specialities.
